Description
Most of the statistics regarding church attendance in America are showing a dramatic downward trend. With every generation that passes, fewer and fewer people are remaining “in the faith.” If you’ve been in church for a number of years, you’ve probably seen what these stats are showing: churches are losing their young people. Could it be that the church shares some of the blame? Could it be that our youth and children’s programs are actually part of the problem?
This DVD follows young filmmaker Philip LeCleric on a journey to find out why youth are leaving the church. On this journey, he interviews young Christians, pastors, youth ministry experts and others. What he finds is that today’s youth ministry model doesn’t come from the Bible, but rather, it is based on ideas that were developed by those opposed to Christianity. Thankfully, he also discovers that some churches are returning to the discipleship methods that God outlines for us in the Bible.
