Description
In our day, there are basically two views concerning gun ownership by private citizens: the “liberal” view and the “conservative” view. Concerning the military, again we find a liberal and a conservative view point. Could it be that neither view is correct? Is there a third option? There is, and that view is found in the Bible. This booklet takes you through some of the main passages in Scripture that deal with war, guns, and the military. Some of the topics dealt with in this booklet include:
– How should a nation’s military be structured and how big should it be?
– When should nations go to war?
– Are there rules that must be followed in war?
– Does the Bible support gun ownership by Christians?
– Should private citizens own machine guns?
Also included is an appendix which shows that the views of our nation’s founders were fairly close to the biblical model, much more so than most modern liberals or conservatives.
